net-ARB's Consumer Confidence Program Membership (CCP) is an assurance to potential customers that a business is committed to fair practices and first class customer service. Members also benefit from reduced customer service cost and limit legal liability and financial risk while building trust.

Every survey we've seen says that "trust" is the biggest obstacle to online and non-local sales conversion — even considering price! If a company is not physically in a customer's local vicinity, some thought has to go into whether or not the company is reliable and what might happen if something goes wrong.

net-ARB's Consumer Confidence Program and Verified Trust Seal give businesses the market advantage they need to show customers that they are committed to the same standards of honesty and ethics as the customer's local merchants. It is the businesses bond that they will not simply turn their back should a problem arise with a purchase.

Many of net-ARB's CCP Members will never have an arbitration need arise. We encourage that! Being believers in civil, alternate dispute resolution, we encourage non-litigious settlement whenever and however possible. Businesses that become members stand behind their products and services, and will do what is ever necessary and within reason to ensure customer satisfaction when a dispute arises.

Should the time come when a difficult customer service issue does arise, net-ARB's arbitration service is in place to ensure that a fair and fast resolution is in place, thereby eliminating the frustration, time and money traditionally expended during the process.

Since CCP Members commit to the arbitration when an issue can not be resolved, it is the customer's responsibility to pay the fixed arbitration fee and file the case. Depending on the ruling, the member can be subject to the reimbursement of the fee in the award; however the total cost of the award can not be greater than the amount in controversy. This protects our members from nuisance claims and gives the customer the confidence that a neutral party is available to examine the facts and issue a ruling whenever a common ground can not be found.
